Being listed is free. We ask for your insurance certificate and whichever registration your trade needs, check them, then delete them — your photos stay on your listing. We keep only the expiry dates, and remind you before your cover runs out.
For a small flat or a few items, man and van hire is usually the cheapest option: one vehicle, one or two people, often charged by the hour. For a full house removal in the UK, a removal company brings a larger crew, packing materials and — importantly — goods-in-transit insurance sized for a whole home. Some firms also offer storage and removals together, useful when completion dates do not line up.
Cheap removal companies are not always the best value. Ask each one what their insurance covers, whether the price is fixed or hourly, what happens if the move runs late, and whether stairs, parking or dismantling furniture cost extra. Get at least three removal company quotes on the same basis so you can compare them fairly.
