1. The service
MoveCompass provides area research tools built on official UK datasets. Information is provided for general research; it is not financial, legal or surveying advice, and moving decisions remain yours.
2. Accounts
One account per person, real email required, and you're responsible for keeping your password private. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (scraping, bulk automated queries, attempting to breach security).
3. Subscriptions
Premium plans bill monthly or yearly, cancel anytime from your dashboard, and remain active until the end of the paid period. Prices include VAT where applicable. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled before the trial ends.
4. Data accuracy
We publish official datasets faithfully and name each source and refresh date, but datasets contain errors and lags at source, and we cannot guarantee completeness. Always verify critical facts (school admissions, flood risk, planning) with the primary authority before acting.
5. Acceptable use
Personal and internal-business research is welcome. Republishing our compiled database, or using the service to build a competing dataset, is not permitted. Individual datasets remain available from their original publishers under their own licences.
6. Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the information on this site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
